Chatham, ON - Member of Parliament for Chatham-Kent Essex, Dave Van Kesteren announced today that his constituency offices in Chatham and Leamington will have new operating hours. Effective immediately the Chatham office will be open from 9:30am-5:30pm and the Leamington office 8am-4pm. Mr. Van Kesteren`s Ottawa office will keep its hours of 9am-5pm.
The decision follows an annual staff meeting where the Member and his staff review the services each office provides and examine ways to improve the assistance they deliver to the residents of Chatham-Kent Essex.
“It became clear that some constituents couldn’t make it into our offices during the normal 9-5 period. So we decided to change the times to allow for those who need to stop in before work or after on their way home,” said Van Kesteren. “It’s one way to ensure that our offices continue to provide the best service to the people of Chatham-Kent Essex.”
Both the Chatham and Leamington offices offer assistance with any federal government issues such as; Canada Revenue Agency, Citizenship and Immigration, Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance, to name a few. Dave Van Kesteren’s offices can be contacted at the following:
